It is located to the northeast of the city of Al-Salt, 15 km away from it. It is characterized by the presence of a group of waterfalls and springs that give its forested nature a distinctive beauty. Al-Rumayman was mentioned in the records of the Ottoman Empire in the first half of the sixteenth century. 25 km from the northeast of Al-Salt, and the word Jilaad means coarse and solid and includes a number of archaeological tombs.

The most important monuments of the site are the small Umayyad mosque and its mihrab, which are still in good condition and have some Islamic inscriptions on them, as well as a burial for a Roman family from the second century AD known as the Dye. There are many olive presses and wheat mills, as well as ancient caves, in addition to the existence of the iron industry in two locations in the village.
